Second half of Nativity scene

We recreated the Nativity scene on Christmas Eve, it was a lot of fun and really hyper. Hayden was suppose to play the part of Baby Jesus but unknowingly to us he was getting a cold and had had a melt down an hour before production and no one wanted to risk waking him up.

Hayden's first introduction to food was squash, he seemed to really like it and did a great job of eating it.

Tea Time at the Grand America was a lot of fun..though I felt very undressed! Next time I will know to wear something a little more refined and to make sure my pinky finger sticks straight out when I sip.

Fun with the Great Grandparents

The Great Grandparents came over the other night and got to see Hayden for the first time! It was a lot of fun! I look forward to seeing them again on Monday at the annual Ericksen Christmas party!

Bumbo Boy

Hayden loves his Bumbo seat and I loved it too, but recently he straightens up and tries to get out of it! The miracle of the Bumbo only lasted a week, hopefully he will learn to re-love it.

I came back into Hayden's room and Brandon had propped him up in his Laundry Basket, he looked so cute and content.

I had a lot of fun getting this shot of Drift, Sassy and Hayden. I put Hayden in the chair put Sassy down by him and I then thought that positioning Drift would be the easiest but I underestimated his fear of Sassy. I could not get him to sit still, I had to keep throwing treats over by Hayden and then hurry and snap the photo. I got a lot of great shots of Sassy doing the stare down to Drift and Drift with a very worried look.

Hayden's Blessing

It was so nice to have everyone come out for Hayden's Blessing, it was a lot of fun. It was great to get this shot of the 4 generations, though Hayden looks dead in the photo! He was sooooo tired afterward, I could not keep him up he fell asleep at 6:45 pm and didn't wake up again until 2:30 am

Good Times on the Polar Express!! I can not wait until Hayden is old enough to grasp the idea of Santa!

So on Thanksgiving, we had my dad get on the scale with Hayden to see how much he weighs now, and he was 14 pounds!!! We called him our 14 pound turkey all day. I can not believe how big he is getting!! It is no surprise, he eats 5 ounces every 3 hours or less. If I could just get him to stop waking up 3 times a night that would help my sanity!

Happy Baby

I've been trying in vain for weeks to get Hayden's cute smiles on film, but every time I would try he would focus in on the camera and be serious. But finally the allusive happy baby has been captured and recorded! The smiles make getting up at 7 am after a long night a little easier.
